<p>This video explains how to install a WordPress theme through the WordPress Dashboard.</p>
<p>To learn how to install a WordPress theme by FTP, watch our &#8220;Install a WordPress Theme with FTP in Five Minutes&#8221; video.</p>
<p>I assume that you already have an instance of the WordPress framework installed and that you know how to login to your WordPress Dashboard.</p>
<p>Also, this video is being recorded using the Firefox browser and is being recorded at a smaller size in order to keep the video size down.</p>
<p>In order to install a WordPress theme, the first thing you have to do is to actually have a WordPress theme. In this video, I will show you to ways of getting a theme.</p>
<p>The first way is through the WordPress Dashboard and the second way is by purchasing a theme.</p>
<h2>Dashboard Approach</h2>
<p>All you have to do is to go Appearance &#8211;&gt; Themes</p>

<p>Next, click on the Install Themes tab.</p>

<p>You can search for a theme any way you want, whether it is by color, size, subject, or features. You can also select the &#8220;featured&#8221; or &#8220;newest&#8221; link, which will show themes in the WordPress repository that are filtered according to the term selected.</p>

<p>Once you have found a theme that interests you, you can click the Preview link to see the theme demonstrated.</p>

<p>If, upon preview, you like the theme, close the preview pane and click the &#8220;install&#8221; link.</p>

<p>The theme will automatically install. You will then see a message showing that the theme has successfully installed; on that screen, click the &#8220;activate&#8221; link.</p>

<p>Once you have activated the WordPress theme, it should be live on the site. Keep in mind there are frequently things that need to be configured to make the theme behave the way it is demonstrated. View your site and press the browser&#8217;s &#8220;refresh&#8221; button to see the theme.</p>
<h2>Upload Approach</h2>
<p>You can also buy a WordPress theme. You can also get free themes. When you get a theme from somewhere other than the WordPress repository, you will need to download it. A theme is usually delivered in .zip format; leave the theme zipped if you plan to install it through the WordPress Dashboard.</p>
<p>In this case, I&#8217;ve downloaded the <a title="http://www.studiopress.com/" href="http://www.studiopress.com/" target="_blank">StudioPress</a> theme: <a title="http://www.studiopress.com/themes/genesis" href="http://www.studiopress.com/themes/genesis" target="_blank">Genesis</a>.</p>

<p>Begin the installation process just like before by clicking on Appearance &#8211;&gt; Themes</p>
<p>Next, click the &#8220;upload&#8221; link.</p>

<p>Next, click the &#8220;browse&#8221; button and browse to the zip file of your theme, which should be stored somewhere on your computer.</p>

<p>Once you have selected your zip file, click the &#8220;Install Now&#8221; button.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The core of content strategy is regular and relevant content on your website.  People will eventually engage with you if they find your content relevant and if they see that you are actively producing information that matters to them.  This requires a dedication to the process of writing content; it needs to come before the rest of your business.</p>
<h3>Writing Articles and Blog Posts vs. In-person Networking</h3>
<ul>
<li>Signing up for, driving to and from the event, and attending a one-hour networking event actually takes about two hours of your time.</li>
<li>As for saturation, you are only making an impression on those you speak to; how many is that? Typically, we are fortunate if we speak to five people at an event.</li>
<li>After the event, you go on with your day and, unless you see them at another event, that&#8217;s all the time you will have to assert yourself with the people you met at the event.</li>
<li>Also, you are positioning yourself on equal footing with them instead of as an expert because they are in the same room as you, doing the same thing as you; looking for leads.</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Now think about how much time it takes to write a blog post like this.  An hour? Thirty minutes?</li>
<li>How long does this post last online? Forever.</li>
<li>How many people will find this post?  Potentially an unlimited amount if the article is relevant enough.</li>
<li>Most likely, the article was found by somebody wishing to solve a problem and you got the opportunity to help them on first contact; you have just made your first step towards positioning yourself as an expert with that contact.</li>
<li>And, if your work is valuable enough to the reader, they will probably sign up for your newsletter, which means they are inviting you to have continued contact with them where you will have more opportunities to share your knowledge and gain further respect.</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On our website, we have two areas where we regularly post content, our blog and our newsletter.</p>
<p>Our goal with both areas is to inform our site visitors about topics that matter to them, but the way we work with each area is different.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our blog and online newsletter allow for comments and are assigned to subject categories.</p>
<p>Our blog and online newsletter post their information in chronological order.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our blog is updated many times a week.</p>
<p>Our newsletter gets articles once a month.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>When we post a new blog entry, no one gets notified.</p>
<p>After a quarter of adding articles to our newsletter, those articles are then aggregated into an e-mail announcment that features a little information from each of that quarter&#8217;s articles with links to the full online article.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our blog posts are typically 200 &#8211; 600 words in length.</p>
<p>Our newsletter articles are 1500 or so words.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our blog posts take 30 &#8211; 60 minutes to write and research.</p>
<p>Our newsletter articles can take a couple weeks to sort through because we are going into much greater depth.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Initially, we thought we would just post newsletter articles because we knew we could safely produce one or two a month and be fine.</p>
<p>Initially, we didn&#8217;t have a blog area on our site because we were worried that we couldn&#8217;t keep producing content for it a few times a week, each week.  Recently, we decided the blog was a glaring hole in our content strategy and we also felt that some of our topics just wouldn&#8217;t be a good fit for 1,500-word articles.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you are going to blog, blog all the time or people will not take you seriously.</p>
<p>If you produce a newsletter, produce it on a regular basis.  Perhaps start out producing it quarterly and eventually work up to every other month, and so on, but you must be consistent or you won&#8217;t be taken seriously.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you create a website using a content management system, you inadvertently invite spammers.  The spammers will try to get you to post their comments.  They will tell talk about how the website and your posts are wonderful.  They might even try to talk intelligently about the content on your site, all in an effort for their comment to show on your site.  How does this benefit them?  Comment spammers post links to sites they are promoting in their comments and the more their links appear throughout the internet on reputable sites, the more it helps them in search engines.</p>
<p>An occasional comment spam may not bother you and is easily deleted, but when you start receiving multiple comments a day, this becomes a time-consuming annoyance to deal with.  The problem is you don&#8217;t want to just delete all the comments you receive because some of them might be real comments.  The next problem is that some of the spammers are pretty convincing in appearance.  It can take an unappealing amount of time out of your day to determine whether each comment is legitimate or not.</p>
<p>So, how do you avoid comments from spammers showing up on your site?  First, make sure you have your CMS set to notify you of all comments and pingbacks. They like to post comments on anything they can, so it won&#8217;t be obvious to you when you have comments in some cases, like if they have commented on an image within your site.  It&#8217;s best to simply get a notification each time you receive a comment.</p>
<p>Next, make sure you have your CMS set to allow you to moderate your comments.  This means that if you haven&#8217;t actually clicked an &#8220;approve&#8221; button, it won&#8217;t show up on your site.</p>
<p>If you get lots of spam comments, use a service like <a href="http://akismet.com/">Akismet</a> to filter your spam comments.  Akismet charges a small fee to do a lot of work for you.  They can tell what comments are spam and send it to your spam box automatically without you having to click anything.  By default, WordPress comes with an Akismet plugin.  To activate it, you need to visit the Akismet site and create an account.  The type of account you get is based on your needs.  After you pay for the account, you’ll receive a unique Akismet key, which is e-mailed to you.  After you get the key, you copy it and paste it into your site’s Akismet plugin settings.  Once you’ve entered your key, the plugin is ready to go.</p>
<p>Install a validation system, like a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA">CAPTCHA</a> plugin, to your site.  WordPress has a few CAPTCHA plugins that are free and do a decent job at deterring some spam.  They work by producing an image with text in it that the user has to type into a validation field in order for the comment to be submitted.  In the case of WordPress, you can install the plugin from within your site’s admin area by clicking on Plugins and then search for “captcha.”  Once you have found the plugin you would like, you can simply install it by clicking “install” and then go to the plugin’s settings to configure anything it requires in order to activate it. You know it is working properly when you go to a post or page that allows comments and you see a verification image in the comment section.</p>

<p>Before anything else.  Before a design, a color, or a wireframe is ever decided on, content has to be established.</p>
<h2>What Dictates Content?</h2>
<p>Your desired audience. Not who you think your audience is based on what you, the business owner, thinks they know, but who your audience actually is. How do you find out who your audience is? You will need to speak with everyone that currently works in your organization about their perceptions and about their interaction with your customers. You will need to speak with your customers and find out their perceptions of your business and their lifestyles. How does your business fit in their lifestyle?  What do they do on a daily basis and how did they come to select you?</p>
<p>Are you thinking all this sounds good? I think it sounds good. So why do so few businesses do this?</p>
<p>We start our projects lofty and with great intentions but then things get in the way and content gets thrown in at the last minute in the middle of the night because the next day is a deadline. Time is a bastard, isn&#8217;t it? Also, what about budget? How many businesses actually want to pay for the research it will take to find out about your audience? If businesses knew the return on investment for planning and executing a content strategy, they would probably be more likely to do things in an organized, meaningful way.</p>
<p>I am studying <a title="Content Strategy at Work by Margot Bloomstein" href="http://www.amazon.com/Content-Strategy-Work-Real-world-Interactive/dp/0123919223/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1330636246&amp;sr=8-1" target="_blank">Content Strategy at Work by Margot Bloomstein</a> and one of the things I am hoping to get from this book are case studies with measurable results that I can discuss with my clients.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I find it interesting that content isn&#8217;t normally viewed as an asset by companies and that they have no idea how valuable it is to constantly add meaningful content to their web site. I am guilty of not adding content nearly enough, but I am very aware of how much this hurts our business.</p>
<p>Most businesses we work with produce their own and either don&#8217;t believe there is value in hiring a copywriter or their work is so technical in nature they have to write it themselves. This sets the company up for failure if they don&#8217;t have a plan in place that carves out time to write content.  More importantly, the plan should make writing content something that seems doable. For instance, I am placing the duty on myself to write 200 words of content for our site each work day. 200 words sounds so innocent, right?</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s the problem with writing content, even 200 words. You need a plan, a strategy. Where does that plan come from? Well, who are you trying to attract? Everyone? Well, that&#8217;s a problem in itself. Your services or products won&#8217;t be used by everyone so why try to cast a net for everyone? Why not write to the very audience that you most desire? Or, as is my case, why not at least write about the things you are discovering along the way that make your business more valuable?</p>
<p>My blog posts will be thick with content strategy ramblings at least for the month of March because I am fascinated by the subject. I want to know how much I know and I want to solidify a foundation that our business can work off of so we can produce more consistent results from project to project.</p>

<ul>
<li>How much time do you have? Do you have time to learn how to build a website or is there a tight deadline?</li>
<li>What’s your level of knowledge &#8212; design knowledge, XHTML knowledge, CSS knowledge, cross-browser issue knowledge&#8230;.etc?</li>
<li>What’s your Budget? Large, small&#8230;.nonexistent?</li>
<li>What’s your desired level of control (both short and long term)? Are you interested in updating your site daily? Or are you interested in being highly involved in the design process?</li>
<li>What’s your desired functionality on the site? Simply information conveying or is it interactive (can make reservations, purchases, fill out forms)?</li>
<li>What are the goals you have for the website? Do you want to be a top search engine result or are you interested in creating a community with your existing customers?</li>
</ul>
<p>Let’s compare and contrast the pros and cons between these two &#8211;very different &#8212; paths.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">TIME &amp; KNOWLEDGE: DIY vs. HIRE</h2>
<p>Do you have the time to build a website&#8230;.REALLY?&#8230;.Really, really? Be honest and realistic with your time budget and if you have time to do it yourself. Or if your plan is to hire out, make sure to budget time to manage the project (writing copy, reviewing designs, getting photos)</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">DIY WEB DESIGN</h3>
<p>HTML is not that hard to learn! It’s true, basic HTML is not that hard. My analogy I often give is it’s a similar undertaking to learning a foreign language, because, yes, it is its own language. So if you have a good amount of extra time and energy to pour into learning HTML intensively, you could probably create your first webpage/site within a few short weeks.</p>
<p>There are plenty of great resources for learning HTML quickly&#8230;and there are several options that can help you build it.</p>
<h3>1. ADOBE DREAMWEAVER</h3>
<p>Dreamweaver software is the industry leader and industry standard for website creation and editing.</p>
<p>Its also very flexible for both beginners and gurus alike. You can see your site in a visual mode, simply see it at the code-level, or BOTH. It also has an “auto-fill” function, where the program will try to figure out what commands you are trying to call in and will offer you proper options as you are writing! It also color cues correct HTML, XHTML, and CSS code.</p>
<p>There are also TONS of resources to learn how to build a site using Dreamweaver such as books, webinars, and even youTube videos.</p>
<h3>2. WORDPRESS</h3>
<p>WordPress is a FREE and popular content management system. It’s completely “Open Source” which means the software grants users the right to use, copy, study, change, and improve its design by making the source code complete open to the public. So any WordPress site can be completely customized, according to your availability to research its functionality or code structure and your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge. WordPress is also used for all types of websites including creative sites, corporate sites, and blogs. WordPress sites are being created everyday by novices, experts, and everything in between.</p>
<p>There are TONS of resources for <a href="http://www.wordpress.org" target="_blank">WordPress</a>, paid and free. There is the WordPress site itself, www.wordpress.org. You can view sites built in WordPress by going to its sister site, www.wordpress.com. There’s also many books in written form and lynda.com has WordPress books in video form. Additionally, there are free youTube vidoes, outside blogs, and seminars. Looking for a conference? WordPress has that too; it is called WordCamp and is probably coming to a city near you soon.</p>
<p>This section focused on WordPress because that’s what Newhouse Studios is most familar with, but there are many other content management systems. At the time of this writing, Joomla, Drupal, and ExpressionEngine are also very popular content management systems.</p>
<h3>3. BLOGGER</h3>
<p>Google brings us so many things awesome, and Blogger is no exception.. It’s a free weblog (blogging for short) host. You can be the sole contributor or have multiple profiles (most content management systems can too). You can post pictures and content, choose and customize layouts, and it’s even mobile friendly.</p>
<p>There are fancier blog tools out there, but Blogger is FREE and easily customizable making the best bang for the blogger buck.</p>
<p>So as you can see there are tons of free to almost free website building options out there. You just need to invest the time.</p>

<p>What is the advantage of hiring a web professional? In a word: <strong><em>TIME</em></strong>&#8230;.and time is money, honey.</p>
<p>Web designers are well versed in the ins and outs of all forms and current standards of HTML, SEO, and maybe even some JavaScript and PHP. Did I lose you with any of that? Exactly.</p>
<p>Web designers walk you through all things web in laymen’s terms. They will give you recommendations on the constantly evolving web standards, help implement your branding and design standards, incorporate search engine optimization principles, and give their expertise, experience, and efforts in all those acronyms that you don’t know the meanings of.</p>
<p>A professionally designed website will also need less maintenance in the long term if it is properly set up. It will rank better in search engines with proper architecture. Not to mention, a web designer can make your website more interactive and even set the website up in a CMS (Content Management System) so that YOU can easily update it easily.</p>
<p>And all of this will be done by set deadlines (i.e. on time).</p>
<p>Nodding your head, but still worried about the cost? Well, let’s look at that. It’s true, a new website could cost anywhere between $4,000 &#8211; $10,000, and that’s a lot of scratch for ANY business. But despite your initial sticker shock it’s actually more cost effective when considering all the investment on doing a website yourself software, education, implementation and TIME.</p>
<p>First you need a image-editing software, like <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopfamily.html?promoid=ITXQN" target="_blank">Adobe Photoshop</a>. The full version is $699 or Elements (bare bones version) is $120. Then you’ll need a HTML editor. <a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/dreamweaver.html?promoid=DJDSZ" target="_blank">Adobe Dreamweaver</a> is industry standard and it’s very flexible for both beginners and gurus alike (read #1 in DIY for the full breakdown) is another $399. <p>Next, there is your time investment. At the very least you need to read the books for the technical knowledge. This will take one to several weeks to digest. Then there is the time investment for the content procurement for items like, images, graphics, articles, forms, etc. Gathering all of your content items together can also take a week or two. Next, you get to do the fun part&#8230;.design! But that will also take some time and some revisions, which will take another week. Now you are finally ready to code. IF you don’t run into any problems that need troubleshooting (do you know how to troubleshoot web problems as they arise?), you can add one to two weeks in production time. Take that GUESSTIMATED time and multiply by your hourly rate. Yeah, you are “paying” for that time and delegating it on top of your current workload. What’s your subtotal?</p>

<h2>Don’t be afraid of color</h2>
<p>Color can help segment a site that has a lot of content or bring life to more technical information.  Color can also convey visual hierarchy, create dynamic composition, or put focus on an element or call to action.</p>
<p>Just make sure to use color carefully and stay within your branding.  Adding color just for the sake of using color, can make your site look unfocused.  There is psychology to color; use it wisely.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are many factors that should be considered before committing to a domain name. Each factor can positively or negatively impact the site&#8217;s ability to be found by humans and search engines.</p>
<p>When considering the techniques below remember it is important that the domain chosen makes sense in relation to the content on the site and is ethically sound. Search engines are sensitive to abusive tactics and they can, and have, banned many domains for spam-like application of search engine optimization techniques.</p>
<h2>First Approach to Selecting a Domain Name</h2>
<p>Is there a large marketing campaign planned to get the word out about the business and the new website? If so, the techniques listed in this section are ideal.</p>
<p>Even if this is not true, these concepts still apply when thinking about a domain name. However, when resources are limited for creating site awareness additional tactics are available and should be considered. You will find them listed in the &#8220;<a href="#secondApproach">second approach to selecting a domain name</a>,&#8221; that follows later in this article.</p>
<h3>The domain name should be relevant and memorable</h3>
<p>A memorable domain name that does not make sense in relation to what the business does can work if there is a large marketing campaign connected to the launch of the business. Google certainly made no sense and neither did Yahoo in their infancy, but they had a strategy to get the word out and used a unique, memorable name.</p>
<p>There is very little time to capture attention and insert the business&#8217; site address into the memory banks of those who give a few seconds of their day to watch or read an advertisement. Consequently a business or domain name needs to make sense in relation to the product or service offered while being emotionally interesting and thus memorable.</p>
<h3>The domain name should be easy to type</h3>
<p>If a domain name is hard to spell or uses an improper spelling, it will frustrate and lose site visitors. Using an “x” instead of “ex”, “ph” instead of “f” and “z” instead of “s” is trendy and examples of ways to confuse visitors. If the misspelling must be used, buy the properly spelled domain as well and have it automatically forward to the more creative spelling.</p>
<p>Double letters connecting words are also challenging, such as &#8220;beinggood,&#8221; it reads funny and is harder to type and spelling it to someone will always go like this, &#8220;That&#8217;s right, &#8220;B E I N G G O O D. Yes, that is two Gs.&#8221;</p>
<p>Avoid using numerals in domain names. Humans do not know if they are being spelled out or if there are literally numerals in the name. Likewise search engines do not know if the numeral is referencing a quantity or replacing a similar-sounding word, such as using “8″ for “ate.</p>
<h3>Choose .com for a domain name extension.</h3>
<p>There are many domain name extensions, such as .org, .edu, .biz, .net, and .me. An educational institution should choose .edu. A non-profit, a non-commercially related project, typically should choose .org. While there are exceptions, most businesses should use .com. since most people assume .com is the extension. There is something out there in .com format that will work. It just might require a little extra brainstorming. This is a very good reason for a domain name to be thought out simultaneously with the branding and naming of the company.</p>
<h3>Make sure the domain name is legible to humans and machines.</h3>
<p>To help the search engines, the domain should read clearly to a machine.If words are put together in the domain that can read as other words, it may confuse search engines “Who Represents” has the domain of “<strong>who</strong>represents.com,” and can easily be interpreted as “<strong>whore</strong>presents.com”. “Therapist Finder” has the domain “<strong>therapist</strong>finder.com” and also reads as “the<strong>rapist</strong> finder.com”.  Test the name by giving it in writing to people who do not know anything about the project and have them read it out loud.</p>
<h3>Shorter domain names are better.</h3>
<p>Two or three words in a domain name are ideal. They are easier to type and remember. A search engine might benefit from four keywords over two or three, but then the humans start to have problems typing and remembering the name. It’s also more difficult to put a long url on business cards, web banners, and print ads.</p>
<h3>Do the research.</h3>
<p>Do some research before selecting a business name. Is there another business out there with the same one? If so this can cause problems with copyright and marketing efforts. Plus, chances are both business owners will want the same or similar domain name and you certainly don’t want to send your customers to a different business’ website, or even worse that of a tawdry service.</p>
<h3>Hyphenated domain names are clumsy.</h3>
<p>Telling a person that the domain is &#8220;super hyphen data hyphen processing&#8221; (super-data-processing.com) is very difficult to say, and from a usability standpoint, hyphens are harder to type than just letters.</p>
<p>In years past, it was believed hyphens in a domain name helped search engines read words because they read hyphens as spaces. Today search engine algorithms have become sophisticated enough to sort through most words, hyphenated or not.</p>
<p><a id="secondApproach" name="secondApproach"></a></p>
<h2>Second Approach to Selecting a Domain Name</h2>
<p>It is important to maximize every part of the web site so visiting search engines are crystal clear about the site’s intention. Search engines do not know anything about a new site’s content, publishing patterns, or validity. No one has linked to the site and it has not made it into the social media buzz. Having a domain name that tells search engines about the content can be a very successful approach to giving it a boost in rankings. If the marketing investment is to be a small one, the techniques for selecting a domain name listed in the previous section should be considered in addition to those listed here.</p>
<h3>A strong domain name should have strong keywords in it.</h3>
<p>What? Shouldn&#8217;t the domain be the business&#8217; domain name? It can be, but if the businesses&#8217; name doesn&#8217;t have keywords in it, there are probably a lot of missed opportunities, especially if there is a limited amount of resources available to promote the new business and website.</p>
<p>Should the domain used on marketing materials be keyword-rich? It makes the most sense to send a consistent message to the consumer. If the business has a non-keyword name that coordinates with the business&#8217; name, use that for all marketing and then set the name to automatically redirect to the keyword-rich domain name, which is where the site actually resides and what the search engines look at in order to understand how to rank a site. If the domain is superzoom.com and the business, Super Zoom, provides a service that increases the speed of processing data, the search engines have no idea that the site has anything to do with the speed of data processing by the domain name superzoom.com. A more effective domain name might be superzoomdataprocessing.com or fastdataprocessing.com.</p>
<p>Additionally, the content at the web site has to be legitimate and relevant for users and search engines to find the site equally valuable, so if there is a site that uses the domain fastdataprocessing.com but the site only talks about data processing on one page out of a hundred, the search engines and the human visitors will find the domain name irrelevant. In this case, a strong domain name will not help the site rankings. But if the site addresses data processing throughout the site, the site will be useful to visitors and the domain name will only add to the search engine&#8217;s confidence in ranking the site for the topic of processing data quickly.</p>
<h3>Put geography in the domain name if possible.</h3>
<p>Search engines want to help local results. They know that a human is typically not going to use a roofing company that is in a different state. If the business makes sense to target locally, put the state abbreviation in the domain name. Sammysdogtrainingaz is appropriate, but if Sammy has a pet food business, it is probably better to stay with sammysdogfood rather than sammysdogfoodaz.</p>
<h3>Domain names are important, but content is the most important factor in high rankings.</h3>
<p>Asserting opinion and expertise through involved, up-to-date, meaningful content is critical to driving traffic to the site, encouraging respect from clients and clients-to-be, and from industry contemporaries. The business can have an outstanding domain name, but without solid content throughout the site, the search engines will not rank the site for what was hoped, and visitors will not stay. Continue adding content to the site after it is initially launched. This requires discipline and will force the authors of the content to grow in the understanding of the product and how others relate to it, which makes the business stronger on all levels.</p>
<h3>Just remember&#8230;</h3>
<p>A site&#8217;s domain name should be relevant to the content, easy to remember, easy to type, and well, just easy. Creating a domain name that no one can say or remember will defeat the purpose and if it looks like spam, it probably is. If the domain name is crafted with relevance, ease of use, and memorability in mind, it will be a name that serves the human visitors as well as it does the search engine algorithms.</p>
